Coming March 2021!
This is the Age of Confusion podcast, an alternate history show that presents a reimagined version of American and world history in the 20th century.
In 1963, an era of upheaval and rapid change, President John F. Kennedy was tragically assassinated in Dallas. Age of Confusion begins with this event, except with a different outcome: Kennedy survives and the history within the show takes a sharp divergence from the true history that unfolded in the real world.
The series is presented as a narrative history podcast, from the standpoint of a neutral historian looking back on events. The show is projected to cover the years 1963 to 1985, a uniquely tumultuous period in the world.
Episodes are expected to be released bi-weekly (every other week) in seasons of 10 episodes each. Average length of an episode is 30 minutes.
Age of Confusion is written, produced and narrated by Sean Munger, a historian who specializes in environmental history and climate change. His other podcasts are Second Decade, a historical show dedicated to the events of the 1810s (second decade of the 19th century), and Green Screen, the environmental movie podcast, where he and co-host Cody Climer watch and discuss popular movies dealing with the environment or in which nature plays a major part.
Dr. Munger also teaches history classes online.
